There's nothing unique about it, listen to Dargaard, Artesia, Arcana or even early Autumn Tears...it all sounds pretty much the same. And they're all influenced by Dead Can Dance...it's still good, though.

Everything I hear in Doppelganger and Glacia is beautifully unique to me, nothing i have heard before(though i have been listening to the gothic,ambient,neoclassical,darkwave,ethereal genre for but a year so far). This powerful music has swept up my spirits from grave depression.

Ilariapaleone: Actually it is Gothic. But not the kind of music you know as Gothic. This is a special kind of Gothic, with very special fans, more specifically small hairy men who live under rocks in the North. They are also known as Hobbits and the place they live in is called The Shire. Read this for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobbit I know this because I once knew a Hobbit, and he said that Glacia was the best Gothic album ever...

Depends what aspects you compare. Glacia's melodies are dynamic and reaching and the vocal harmonies are a new touch. A first album is generally more easy to make a solid album as everything is new and there is little risk of repeating oneself. Glacia is strong in a new way. I hear it moving forwards with acceptance in becoming its own future. It's a different feeling, but I think you should let yourself hear something new and it will reveal its strength to you.
