Oh, and the best moment for me not only on the album, but music itself, is when LaBrie's ending note gets cut and the story lifted to completely new level with, like, 10 words. Since I'm familiar with the whole Ayreon concept and story, that part just literally made me unable to breathe for close to half a minute... again. It is so fucking unbelievable I find myself once again running out of words. I just hope that all that isn't what mankind is about to come, neither literally nor at any other level we could interpret it. Like always after listening to THE (which happens extremely rarely since it's so big and crushing and I must be in the mood for it), I will name it the best album I've ever heard. (Although I tend to do this with stuff like Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls and Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime as well. Gee, it's good that I don't like those depressing concept albums that mess with human psyche! If I did, I'd question my sanity. -.-)

Apparently the only thing that makes The Human Equation even resemble a man-made album (and not perfect/godly itself) is the fact that Mike Baker (R.I.P.) doesn't get to sing at all. Anyway, his role as Father is unbelievably well delivered - we hear yet another dimension of his incredible vocal delivery. It's absolutely irrelevant for me to search any "best" or "worst" parts of the album since the complete package is so out of this world. Every song and voice reflects the atmosphere that's taking place perfectly. Although I think I might like the strongest voices the best (and I realize not every role should have a strong voice; the roles are perfect, I'm only talking about what I normally prefer here). Magnus Ekwall absolutely fucking shines throughout the album, LaBrie is as unbelievable, as well as Flo- Irene Jansen. :) Marcela Bovio and Mikael Åkerfeldt have glimpses of awesomeness as well. And as always, Devin... well, he's ridiculous as Rage, especially in Day Sixteen: Loser.
