First and foremost it has to be said that the focal point of the show was the vocal trio of the three Norwegian ladies (Anna Maria Friman, Linn Andrea Fuglseth and Torunn Østrem Ossum) who enrolled on a mission to enchant and mesmerize the audience with renditions of medieval songs of Europe. This they have done incredibly well, the gentle magic of their amazing voices working its way through the audience’s imagination. However, it would not have been as spectacular as it was if not for moody, sometimes even dark contrast provided by the other magician on stage, Arve Henriksen, also hailing from the land of fjords and black metal. Trumpet being his obvious tool of choice, he also employed various bits of electronic equipment…
