  I don't really think it's "stealing a riff". Three notes together have to have been used hundreds of years ago-it's how you use them. And this sounds very different than Clocks.

  ...lights go down and I can´t be safe...!!! looks like a "clocks" version. That "riff" is really famous as to realize it!! nobody told them this sounded exactly like coldplay's "clocks"?? they could have changed it a little. But, of course, we wouldn´t be writing about it...
