    Ok well its around 6.30am, i've been awake since 5am!! Don't ask me why, but i now need to get ready for uni. Right now though i'm putting that off as i really don't wanna get, its nice and warm here and looks cold and wet outside!
    Anyway enough nonsense! Reason for writing this was to let folks know about a guy called Apparat! Right now i'm listening to his latest album Walls. Go check out guys, especially my fave tracks, Fractales Pt.1, Fractales Pt.2 and Headup. So if you are bored or into new things i suggest you give him a try! He also has an album out with a girl called Ellen Allien, it's called Orchestra of Bubbles.

  • 2007 Wrap-up: 20 Best Albums of the Year

    It’s that time of the year again: Cold winter days, Christmas lights and… year end lists. I’ve closed my musical book for the year, anything that’s released from now on won’t make it on my best of list on such a short notice anyway. So it’s time to round it up and make up the score. I think it’s become pretty obvious that I’ve had a musical year dominated by , and . 2007 was also the year I discovered the joys of concerts: Stars, The Decemberists (twice), Battles, The Frames, The Album Leaf and all of this in one year. You certainly won’t hear me complaining!

    There’s a little treat waiting all the way at the bottom: A mixtape with some of the the highlights from these albums.

    Without further ado, here’s my top 20 albums of 2007:

    #20 Voxtrot – Voxtrot (USA)
