Apparat，柏林人Sascha Ring的化身，继2003年的Duplex以及去年与同属柏林电子音乐体系的才女Ellen Allien联手制作的大受好评的Orchesta of Bubbles之后录制的最新个人录音室专辑.专辑以”墙”为标题并非划清界限的意思，而是聚合各种音乐元素，让它们在其中自由倘佯产生激情碰撞：弦乐与打击乐器、摇滚吉他与细锐的合成器、重复循环的敲击与强劲的鼓声在一起作一场天地大交欢。Apparat认为这张新专辑既不是概念性作品也不是精选集，而是对自己过去两年多来实践的总结，十三首曲子是在七十多件创作中精挑细选加以完善而成，因此专辑中包容了更多的不同风格。实际上，这堵”墙”是对流行电音的崭新诠释与定义，Apparat展示了作为独立电音领军人物天才的一面，层次鲜明的Glitch/IDM与Techno及迷幻的Ambient无不均折射出他对电音的高度驾驭。
