This album has the most impressive theatrical demonic possession I ever heard. I think who never another band can create a so impressive diabolical atmosphere in a song as well as Aphrodite's Child.

666 is an amazing work, especially when you consider they did the whole thing on tape, no computers involved. The mixing is a least as amazing as the music itself!

Aphrodite's Child is one of those bands you must listen to! I grew up listening to it and after long long time still they impress me so much... Is One hell of a Band, and may I say Soooo UNDERRATED!!! Demmi Russos and Vangelis in one band... Well you got to see!!!!! And Don't focus only on 666 album go further they have amazing stuff other than the brilliant 666!!

666 is a phenomenal record! I recommend, HIGHly, The Book of AM if you're into the "stories."

It's a bit of a pity that 666 completely overshadows their earlier work. Granted, 666 is the masterpiece, but there are several older songs of theirs that can unashamedly stand next to 666.
