Basically, this is inspired by the Nordic Artist Chart by user Radiopilote. I wanted this for german artists, found nothing similar and did it on my own.

I browsed tags, similar artists and national charts to get this list of the top 100 artists on Last.fm, sorted by the number of overall listeners (date: 27 April, 2009).

La alemana Annett Louisan pasea su música ante espectadores formados en un ambiente de respeto y aprecio por las expresiones artísticas; la chilena Natalia Molina tiene que vérselas muchas veces con personajes mal educados que no paran de hablar e interrumpir mientras canta. La rubia trabaja con una infraestructura de primer mundo en todos los escenarios en que actúa; la morena debe darse vueltas en pequeños escenarios, incómodos la mayoría, pero llena de energía para tocar.

Wie auch letztes Jahr habe ich mal wieder geguckt, was alles 2008 an Albenreleases von statten ging und schreibe meine Lichtblicke auf. Nicht in beliebiger Reihenfolge.
Wie immer konnte ich natürlich nicht jedes Album hören, das releast wurde aber im Fall, dass ich wirklich noch eine Perle aus 2008 in nächster Zeit finde werde ich wohl ein P.S. anhängen.

Ganz knapp hat Hikki es doch auf die 1 geschafft. Da es schon im März rauskam hatte ich es fast schon wieder so weit in die Vergangenheit geschoben, dass ich dachte es gehöre zu 2007 aber dem ist nicht so. Zwar hab ich, als es rauskam gesagt Hikki langweilt mich fast inzwischen schon, weil sie sich nicht weiterentwickelt, dennoch ist Heart Station konstant gut und wurde recht viel von mir gehört.
