Excelente show de Anathema. No defraudaron
2 horas de show y un repertorio a full
...menos mal que nadie fumó marihuana, que si no nos cortaban el show

Teloneros: Petter Carlsen ..simpático el hombre, lento, su rollo, pero bueno...
Slamo los portugueses no eran malos, copia de Incubus como escuché por ahi ...no mucho que comentar

En fin, tremendo show de Anathema, temazo tras temazo...
aunque igual faltó Panic, Angelica o incluso Parisienne Moonlight que generalmente la hacen...

Wydarzenie: koncert Pettera Carlsena, Anneke van Giersbergen i Anathemy

Trochę senna niedziela (jak to niedziele zwykły mieć w zwyczaju) oraz natłok pracy w dniu kolejnym wcale nie przeszkodziły w stawieniu się u podnóża schodów prowadzących do Proximy. A w środku pierwsza niespodzianka – potok ludzi. Kolejka do szatni, kolejka do baru – ok., swoje odstałem i dalej pod scenę. A tam już tylko stopniowo gęstniejący tłum, rosnąca temperatura i oczekiwanie.

Petter Carlsen – rzadko zdarza mi się wybrać na koncert bez wcześniejszego zapoznania się z suportem. Tym razem pozwoliłem sobie na takie zachowanie, dlatego też postawa Pettera bardzo korzystnie mnie zaskoczyła. Pojawiły się zarzuty, że materiał zaprezentowany na scenie przez młodego Norwega jest zbyt monotonny i senny. Może i tak, ale mi ten rodzaj melancholii jak najbardziej odpowiada. Zwłaszcza na jesiennie wieczory. …

Решил здесь вывесить свой первый отчетик. Тогда меня в lastfm еще не было )

Выхожу из метро «Октябрьская» и, согласно схеме, скачанной с parter.ru, направляюсь в сторону «Точки». Время 15:30. «Точка» оказывается во дворе каких-то университетов. Подхожу ко входу — никого. Ну, по крайней мере, мне так показалось. Хм, ладно, надо как-то убить время и осмотреть окрестности.

Ко времени 16:45 у входа было уже человек 30. Следующие полчаса я сидел на ограждении и слушал разговоры соседней группы молодых людей. Непонятно откуда появились парнишки лет по 10-12 с бейджиками с картинками концерта и надписью «Везде», от которых была получена информация, что концерт, предположительно закончится в 22:00, спустя часок-другой можно будет дождаться группу для автографов. Парнишки попили «Кока-колу» на воздухе и ушли. Тут наше внимание обратил на себя длинноволосый парень выходящий из клуба. Я и не думал, что могу так глупо улыбаться, когда я опознал Дэниэля! Народ вокруг оказался расторопнее и потянул к нему, у кого что было, для автографа.

Fri 7 Nov – Anathema, Demians

I'm so glad I went to this gig. It is, without a doubt, the best one I have been to in a few years. Anathema played beautifully and covered songs from pretty much all their eras while still managing to make the gig sound cohesive. There were some lovely surprises in the set list, and I left the gig feeling wonderfully buoyed and satisfied.

The entire gig was a highlight, but there were some particularly memorable parts. Hearing Hope and Angelica played live was brilliant, as was the acoustic version of Are You There?, which Danny did solo. In fact, while the original version of that track was good, I think I appreciate it so much more since hearing the acoustic version. …

Są takie płyty, których można słuchać setki razy i za każdym razem czuć dreszcz. Mieć świadomość, że obcuje się z czymś niezwykłym i przeżywać każdą sekundę całym sercem. Oczekiwać słów, które tak dobrze się już zna, które tak dobrze się rozumie. Jedną z takich płyt jest dla mnie "Alternative 4" - jak dla mnie najwybitniejsze, najbardziej skończone dzieło Anathemy. Odkąd poznałem ten album, wiedziałem że muszę kiedyś poobcować z nim na żywo.

Bracia Cavanagh odwiedzają nasz kraj wyjątkowo często, lecz dopiero w tym roku udało mi się zobaczyć ich występ. Anathema przyjechała do Polski na dwa koncerty: najpierw Warszawa, następnego dnia Kraków. Póki co niestety zamieszkuję tę brzydszą stolicę Polski, więc w poniedziałkowy wieczór udałem się do warszawskiego klubu Proxima. I w tym miejscu należy się wiele fucków pod kątem organizatora całej imprezy. Koncert miał się początkowo rozpocząć o 20. Parę dni wcześniej na wszelkich możliwych stronach internetowych pojawiła się informacja…

Thu 14 Aug – Brutal Assault XIII - 2008

Brutal Assault, the festival with 80 bands and I went there to see one. A very good trip with Jhessail , Morrigan_le_Fay and theriel_night. We've met a few familiar faces more at the place :)

The place itself was interesting - an old military fort from XVIIIth century, now filled with metal fans. As folks called it - a little metal city. Pity parts of the festival weren't located in the tunnels, that would give more to the atmosphere. But I guess bands had some fun going through them for they appeared out of nowhere in the place, I guess they drove to another side of the walls. Double stage, bands were playing alternatingly, so no band could be missed while listening to another as it happens on some festivals, very good idea.

Now regarding sound itself most of bands sounded flat to me, but it was hard to state if the sound was set wrong or they just sound this way given I've herd them for the first time. …
