Ironc and sad that Donny Hathaway was also a victim of his own personal demons. This track is timeless and will still sound fresh long after the tabloids have stopped talking about Ms Winehouse.

iamtakingplace Urgh! This song is not 'ironic'. If you listen to the lyrics she is saying there's no point in her going to rehab because her depression and sadness over her break up is the root of her problem. She needed to deal with that before dealing with the alcohol dependancy. No one gave her the help she needed with her original problem, so she never stopped drinking. It's not a complicated song, it's not that hard to work out.
