confu Neil was always the most drunk on their shows. I will dearly miss him :( Still no official news regarding Steve though? They do need a second guitarist to be able to perform Octopus stuff, and it seems to me he's basically a permanent member already.

Fair play, folks, and I can only hope you play in Ireland sometime. It would be batshit awesome. I will be wearing the hoodie in the front row. :)

You should start with the first self-titled album in my opinion. But The Octopus isn't a bad choice either. Don't start with Insider, this album doesn't show their potential.

Unfortunately, I can't go to any of their concerts with Anathema. And that could be so amazing. Two incredible bands (though, right now I'm more into Amplifier than Anathema). Wish they'll tour with Porcupine Tree again...

haha, there were indeed some nutters at the Glasgow show. I enjoyed it though. Bizarrely, I went with my sister and Dad. We all enjoyed it. I should have more family shows.

Really enjoyed the Glasgow gig last night. Despite a slightly rocky start and all the stony faced twats in the crowd. Cracking set! Not what I expected at all. A lot of Octopus was to be expected but with a few very welcome older tracks thrown in. It really made The Octopus finally click for me as an album (been a long time coming) and has rekindled my faith in them as a band. Just want my bandcamp download for Silvio now please.
