Saw the show at O2 as well yesterday, it was quite amazing. Does anyone here know which tracks were on the setlist besides the ISAM ones? There were quite a few cool tracks I had never heard of.

I'm almost dying here from exhaustion here, but it was worth running for the Amon Tobin concert at the O2 today. Finally, what to say about the ISAM: Live from Amon Tobin? It's the third time I've seen the show and I'm already preparing for the fourth time for the Sónar festival in Barcelona. Besides the show is an hell of experience, I had the glorious chance to see Amon smoking in Blueroom Bar and we had a long chat with him... And he is a really nice person!!! We spent the post-concert time talking about sampling and granular synthesis. Beautiful, no? And now? COME TO ME, SÓNAR IN BARCELONA!

Yeah I know, my point was he was able to make that album with amazing sampling techniques and through doing more than just slapping random samples together ie Tobin's genius to create something that was way ahead of it's time. Though I mostly feel that way about Out From (more than Bricolage) I still think both sound incredibly modern despite being over 10 years old.

I meant how sleek and developed it sounds, as well as how far ahead it was stylistically. It's far more than just slapping a load of jazz samples and amen breaks together.

How I can understand, Tobin will never come to Russia, it's very sad.. Why the concert in Moscow was cancelled? Moscow clubbing bitches.. My city, Saint-Petersburg, can gather many people for his show.. Our city love good music, but Moscow became too choosy... I think, Tobin's organizators was frightened by russian methods of management.. It's really crap, why this country is so fucking freak.. Local stupid mutants will give concerts and become fatter, but cool exprimental scene will be in the shadow for ages.. So, good luck to other foreign people on Tobin's concerts...
