Honestly I've always had a bit of a hard time understanding how people can be totally into songs and bands that they can't understand the lyrics of, but I must admit that's changed a bit after I discovered Amesoeurs.

Alright... after listening to the whole latest album I see why they broke up. It's not a seamless combination of black/shoegaze/postrock... it is all over the place from song to song and even within a song itself. Randomly changing from black screams to shoegaze guitars to disco/pop beats is not a sign of a coherent band. And the roman numerals song... angry thrash death metal? Despite this... really good album!
