Дорогие друзья и все, кто читают эту заметку! Вот и стучится в двери предновогодняя суета, предстоят ещё сложнейшие 2 последние недели года. Чуть ранее я уже начал подводить итоги года. Скоро вы сможете лицезреть мой главный чарт уходящего года - итоговый топ-100 песен. А пока его участники делают свои последние рывки и падения предлагаю ознакомиться с ретро-топом этого года. Здесь и песни, открытые мной в этом году и подзабытые песни, которыми я заслушивался предыдущие годы, и те песни, что я открыл в прошлом году и по инерции слушал в этом. Ну и как говорит какой-нибудь мажор блондинке на заднем сидении машины: "Довольно болтовни, займёмся делом"

Well Lady Gaga's music has finally caught up with her mythology and image.

Born This Way is unmistakably Gaga..a busted disco ball on the floor; shiny, shattered, broken, reflective, disjointed, jagged, sparkly, beautiful.. and a mess. And for one day you could buy it for a dollar on Amazon.com thus selling a Million copies in its first week

It has all has the subtlety of a chainsaw, and Ms. Gaga wouldn't have it any other way.

If one thing, the sound of Born This Way very sonically consistent..hair metal rave. A very dirty hotel tryst between La Bouche and Def Leppard.

Vocally, Lady Gaga has never sounded better or more soulful. The thin girl vocals of Paparazzi are replaced with a sultry, soulful growl.

Of course on her sophomore album she had to go "deeper"..with the lyrics, the production, and the sound design. Lots of Sex, Religion, and self Empowerment..its Madonna 1992 Erotica. She can also speak in foreign languages now.. at least phonetically

Finally all Myspace users can create their own playlists (not only the ones in the U.S.), and bands can do this as well now - great stuff!

So I went ahead, and in the meantime there is a dozen playlists to be found on the Bluezz Bastardzz Myspace profile, my ZZ Top cover band. New additions are Die ganz neue Fuddel-Rock IV packed with guitar virtuoso music by Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and the likes. On Blues I mainly added old blues music by Leadbelly, the early B.B. King, Elmore James etc. Southern Rock of course features Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, The Allman Brothers Band and others from that genre.

I searched through the songs of the Bluezz Bastardzz top friends on Myspace and also added bands from our setlist to the Bluezz Bastardzz' Favorites playlist which has 100 songs now, i.e. more than eight hours of continuous playback including ZZ Top, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Gov't Mule and the like.

The Female Vocalists playlist is full as well, so I created separate ones e.g. …

Recently I hit '1300' artists in my library, so I thought I'd make a list of them all for posterity! Of course, I already removed one of those artists frmo my library during this process (it was my music, but under the wrong name...) and there are others I can probably get rid of immediately. But I want to take care in doing so.
