    1. How did you get into 22? (Sarah McLachlan)
    I remember hearing Building A Mystery a lot on the radio and seeing the music video on TV. Didn't like it at first, but then it grew on me.

    Some messageboard I was on at one time was having a "competition" of bands/artists that various members liked. We had to post links to songs of the various musicians. I listened to Ghost In My Emotion for the first time through that competition and thought "WOW!". Love at first listen, in other words. *lol*

    I've no idea. I guess I got bored of Metallica.

  • Masters of Rock 2007 Report CZ

    Thu 12 Jul – Masters of Rock 2007
    Další ročník Masterů je (bohužel) za námi, už jsem se z toho celkem vzpamatoval, tak si říkám, že je na čase naštvat pár lidí svým komentářem :-). Tož se nestyďte reagovat a hlavně rychle, než vás přejde vztek...

    Čtvrtek
    Asi v jednu jsme vyrazili vyměnit lístek za náramek a o asi půl hodinu a jednu sto metrovou frontu později už jsme si prohlíželi, jak letos vypadá areál festivalu.

    Nyní začnu komentovat kapely, takže slabším povahám doporučuji zkontrolovat si můj profil a zjistit, jestli poslouchají alespoň přibližně to samé, co já, jinak neručím za vaše fyzické ani psychické zdraví :-P.

    První to na placu rozbalili Six Degrees of Separation a nutno říct, že hudba je to super, jen ten hlas se mi nelíbí, s jiným zpěvákem bych je určitě rád pronásledoval po festivalech.
    Další kapelu, 2 Wings, jsme zaslechli jen tak mimoděk u pivka a docela jsem litoval, že jsem byl před tím tak hnusný na předchozí kapelu, tohle bylo úplně mimo cokoliv, co poslouchám já nebo kdokoliv z naší bandy.

  • After Forever Remagine [album critic]

    After Forever- Remagine

    On their latest work, called Remagine, After Forever developed in some other direction, as we might have expected, after the lyrical disaster Invisible Circles. Most of the songs deal with your inner self, who you really are and your dreams. Most of the metaphors are gone and the lyrics are much more easy to understand than on older works like Decipher.
    What comes into mind after the first listening is the keys- used on some rare parts like we are used to After Forever keys, but on most songs they are used in a 80s Pop(especially on the songs "Being Everyone" and "Boundaries are open" )- way which is completely new to the After Forever sound. Also the dark atmosphere from their earlier works is gone it seems, the only song that creates an atmosphere like that, is "Enter"(The Intro) and "Come".
    Which is a bit dissappointing again, is the lyrical side of this album, the kick-ass track "Face your demons" would actually be really cool…
