vyhlidky do roku 2012 a vubec ne spatny, i kdyz nevesely truchlivy. Mark Lanegan podruhy, jeste bude jednou a v breznu poctvrty - nazivo v Praze. od posledni desky Bubblegum uz je to nejakej ten patecek, ale chlapik nechrapal a treba kolaborace se Soulsavers je epesni. a presne takhle zni i prvni vlastovka z pripravovany desky: temnej beat, jeste temnejsi vokal. tesim se strasne.

The black-and-white image of legendary Butoh dancer Kazuo Ohno that adorns the cover of The Crying Light, the third full-length by Antony and the Johnsons, seems to offer a view of a being enveloped in both ecstasy and agony -- or does it? The songs contained here offer something else: a glimpse of a universe beyond the pale of vision, seen only by the individual experiencing it. Neo-classical underpinnings are entwined lovingly with broken pop songs and secretive after-hours cabaret poems. Check the opener, "Her Eyes Are Underneath the Ground". Gentlemen by Afghan Whigs (1993)

Some albums are permanent residents of your iTunes, and for me this is one of them.

From the first time I shoved this album down my cd-players’ front opening and heard the opening quartet of songs on Gentlemen, I knew that this was an album I’d probably love forever. And yeah, I’m aware of the fact that forever is a long time. But it’s been 17 years already so there is a pretty decent chance it will stick around for quite a while to say the least.
