  • Bands I Have Seen Live

When I was browsing the very extensive Last.fm site I found a couple of journal entries that listed the bands and artists that the author of the entry had seen live. I like this idea very much.

Suddenly I realized I have a collection of concert tickets somewhere in a drawer. And so I decided to compile a list of bands that I have seen live myself, trying to be as detailed as possible.

I will try to keep the list as up-to-date as possible. Please note that the list is not exhaustive. For some bands, I can't recall the exact dates anymore I've attended their concerts. I filed these under section "Date Unknown". If I can remember or find out more information about the concerts from the past then I will update the list.

    Hi,

this is a list of concerts I've seen (I surely forgot some):

BAP(German Rock Band, 1988 in Wolfsburg): My first rock show. They played for about 4 hours!
Mother's Finest (ca. 1990 in Hannover, w/ Fury in the Slaughterhouse)
Living Colour (1990 in Hamburg): the show was OK, but they had a very raw sound (you could also call it "way-out" or "grubby").
Mr. Big (1991, w/ White Lion): This was awesome, because my arm was in a cast and Eric Martin put his autograph on it after the show. Besides, Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan used their electric drills playing "Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy". The show was very short (45 min.) 'cause they only were the supporting act. Nevertheless, it was one of the greatest concerts I've seen/heard ;o)
    Extreme (1991, Hamburg)
Joe Satriani (1993, Hamburg, w/ Adrian Legg): Adrian Legg opened the show and (as he looked quite like a retiree or "stray grandpa") the crowd was apalled at first…
