List of Female Fronted Metal Bands ~Over 1.000 Bands~

I know that quite a few lists like this exist already but I felt like doing my own. The main reason I wanted to do this list is because I've never seen a list that includes the style of the bands and if you're searching for some specific style you have to go through all this bands and it will probably take you a long time until you find what you are looking for. So this should make things a lot easier.

Another thing I want to mention is that not all the bands in this list are really metal, but they have metal influences or some other connection to it.

If you know some more bands I didn't include in here than please let me know

Albums of the year 2009

which were fucking with fire!

My friend GraceTemptation has just started writing a journal called Lucky 13. Since it's a really great way how to describe the last year from a musical point of view, I've decided to do the same. So here we go!

There are 8 albums which I was really looking for or I've felt in love with (so much that it's not possible!)... ...then another 14 albums which are also good and they're worth a mention... ...and then albums which I expect in 2010. They are sorted by release date (in Europe or the Czech Republic). From a music point of view, 2009 had a blast! Most of these albums are (and I'm pretty sure will be) ones of my most favourite albums ever. Hope 2010 will be similar.

Ok ok, I'm going to try it too. My friend GraceTemptation wrote a journal entry about her charts which seems to be funny, so it's my turn now.

1. What's your favorite song by 14?
Brother Firetribe is so catchy group and it's full of strange erotic power! Yes, this is it. Listening to them on Friday or Saturday evening is really dangerous ;-) I like both albums of them, but the one released in 2008, Heart Full of Fire, is more powerful after all. And I must say I can't decide what's my top song. Really, I love them all.

2. How did you get into 20?
I've heard of Pain in connection with Nightwish's gig here in the Czech republic in February 2008. And then my good friend, Kapinnka, and also my ex boy-friend recommended me some songs. Now I have almost all albums and listening to them especially when I'm angry (I can scream with them!).

3. Who is your favorite member in 8?

Dojazd, środa.

Hello, ladies and motherfuckers!

Dojazd do Poznania to była istna mordęga. Przewidziałem 148 sytuacji losowych, z atakiem kosmitów włącznie, ale za cholerę do głowy by mi nie przyszło że pociąg nocny może się opóźnić o godzinę, budzik może następnego dnia nie zadzwonić, a kluczyki od auta mogą zaginąć w akcji. Ostatecznie dotarłem jakoś do Jarocina i Pozen, by koło 10:00 wyruszyć w dziesięciogodzinną podróż do Kudowy. Źle nie było, ¾ drogi przespałem, resztę przegadałem z ludźmi z przedziału. Gdzieś podczas ostatniego postoju poznałem ekipę, której co prawda nie spotkałem już więcej, ale której jestem (zwłaszcza Traktorowi) wdzięczny za umożliwienie mi dotarcia busem do Jaromera. Na pole zawitałem koło 20, polskich flag było od groma, więc z łatwością znalazłem sobie miejsce. Krótka walka z namiotem, piwo w rękę i integracja. …
