Fifth part of my journal is here. Previous four have introduced me into a lot of great music and this one will continue this opportunity. Ratings are slightly rearranged and everything is more accurate, I hope so. Great fact is, that there's still a lot of brilliant, but unknown music and searching for more is not pointless.

For everyone different values are important. Therefore if you agree with most of my ratings, follow them, our approach to these genres is similar. Admiration starts at 2,5.

FAQ:
1) It's just a (very tolerant) list of recommendations by tags and similar artists. Many of these may have only some traces of desired genres, but they are included as the very "edge" and nothing more beyond them. The downside is, ratings may be unfair to fans of these neighbouring genres.
2) I usually give every artist 2 hours or other amount of time that takes to scrobble it 15 times. Generally by albums in chronological order, but when there are more than 2h of tracks, I shuffle them. …

As before, below is a "little" list of atmospheric / depressive black metal bands I have already listened to and some proposals to discover.

I didn't make any distinction between digipacks, digibooks, limited editions and the like, 'cause in the end, it's all about the music and to be honest, I couldn't be arsed to add any additional information anyway. In contrast to most black metal bands, which mainly focus on expressing „hate“, „aggression“ or „depression“, Wolves In The Throne Room have some kind of „spiritual balance“ or „peace“ in their music, in relation to this i could probably only name Negură Bunget in comparison...
Favorite album: Two Hunters

Solefald
One of the most important bands for me. While you often still can find the old norwegian black metal spirit in the core of the music, there is no band you really could compare to Solefald (and sometimes it's difficult to still classify them as „black metal“).

It looks like a some other compilation of Atmospheric / Depressive Black Metal, Funeral Doom, some Death Doom and simply interesting bands like An Autumn for Crippled Children or Void of Silence.
I think It will be possible that for someone person this "Journal" will seems helpful or maybe anything else more...
At this moment, there are 291 bands in this list, but on other website, I have 310 songs, have been taken by one song from every project. So... some bands in this list are missing here, I'm so sorry for my inattention.

Evening, last.fm parasites. How's it going in the world BELOW MINE?

Before we get carried away with that, let's all take a moment out of our oh-so-rushed lives to talk about the end of your amazingly fulfilled lives and what that means.

1: It 'means' that - depending on your stupid beliefs - you're going to either:
Heaven/Hell
Rot in some shitty, irradiated ground with other dead fags/have your shitty ashes thrown on the ground so people can stomp on them.

2: (depending on your beliefs) Everything you are currently experiencing (taste, touch, smell, sight, sound) will cease and be replaced with non-existence... Whatever that may be.

Now, considering those two points, think about what you're currently doing/about to do. Does that action serve any meaning if the above points are correct? No. It doesn't. And don't try to reassure yourself that it does by stating 'But I give it meaning lol XD' or 'It means something because I am living in this current moment. I am also incapable of thinking in a broad spectrum. …

What is THAT supposed to mean, again?

Hear, hear. Not only did that Khanatist guy not even bother to come up with a proper Top 50 year list, as he traditionally used to all the years before - well, how could you, if all you scrobble in one goddamn year is the latest fail in the wobbling excuse for a genre called dubstep - he also missed the deadline for decade lists by WEEKS and now tries to hand one in later with the obviousness of an obvious troll! Hell, the 10's are almost over, I gotta be kidding, right?
