fierycrimson Well for me, I don't think having such uniform sounds is such a bad idea though. I think Katakura-san is only being cautious for anime theme songs unlike the ones in their studio albums which are not used in live action or anime theme songs. It might sound "too gothic and gloomy" for an anime so somehow, that's why I thought on "recycling" sounds from previous singles.

bondingo @moichispa & Bisso_Zima: Glad to hear it isn't just me. The albums I have are 禁書 and 汎新日本主義 then La Vita Romantica and QUEENDOM. Unfortunately two of those being bests from after everything started getting really samey doesn't help. The studio albums certainly sound different enough, though neither is completely without a couple songs that sound exactly like that rehash of a song every single has been for the past half a decade.

Bisso_Zima @bondingo: Yes, since 2008-2009 their singles unfortunately sounds all the same, but, as moichispa said, quite every album sounds a lot different from the others. Try to listen to 月下の一群, Noblerot and then to 禁書 and you will notice it. Anyway I hope they will change their sound a bit now for new releases.

Eudes_Ferreira De fato, o ALI PROJECT sempre surpreende com os álbuns, mas não com os singles. Dilettante é, realmente, um álbum fascinante. Porém todos os álbuns se saíram bem, pois a temática gótica proposta pela banda sempre se reinventa, mas nunca se perde, eis por que não paro de escutar essa banda, tem uma sonoridade incrível.

moichispa No, you're not the only one. Singles starting getting repetitive since 2008 for me. However albums are really different between them. Too bad there haven't been any release since Han shin. I hope next one will be as gorgeous as Dilettante is.

Am I the only one who thinks every single one of their songs sounds exactly the same? I'm exagerrating of course, but not much. Seriously, I loved the first few songs I heard of them and the first album I bought was good, albeit slightly repetitive, but now whenever I hear a song I haven't listened to before it sounds exactly like every other one I've already heard. Not trying to troll, I just want to hear what anyone has to say.

ALI PROJECT last fm page has too many romaji top songs so I think we should try to retag correctly and suggest so that at least most popular songs romaji gets autocorrected. I have created a guide here . I also did one for the avenger ost artist page. We should suggest that artist and it songs to be autocorrected too (it is a 800 listeners artist).

I was just thinking how awesome it would be if they made PVs for all past A-sides which didn't have one... Especially if they used the same concept as the singles' covers *---* Ankoku Tengoku, Kotodama, Rara Eve, Baragoku, Ranse, Kinjirareta, maybe even the really old ones lololol It just screams awesomeness <3

I loved the preview! Seems like it was worth the long wait! The verses reminded me of Yuki no Onna, although the refrain comes with the famous Alipro style xD Oh, it's lovely ;---------------; By the way, it's almost TV-sized... maybe just missing the intro?
