Söndagen den 21 juni var det dags. AC/DC skulle spela på Ullevi i Göteborg. Jag hade mått dåligt hela dagen, troligtvis på grund av allt karusellåkande på Liseberg föregående dag, men när jag började bege mig mot centrum kändes allting helt plötsligt mycket bättre. Vid ca 18.30-tiden anlände jag till Ullevi med spårvagn. Insläppet hade börjat redan 18.00 men det var ändå helt hysteriskt utanför. Jag skulle till och med vilja kalla det för kaos. Folk visste inte var de skulle, det ösregnade (fast det var skinande sol) och alla sprang runt som yra höns och skrek. Efter några minuter och lite frågande lyckades jag ta reda på vilken ingång jag skulle in genom. PLANEN hette den, troligtvis med någon slags hänvisning till att det var på ”planen” jag skulle stå under konserten.

Efter kroppsvisitering, biljettkontroll och otaliga lager av säkerhetsvakter så var jag äntligen inne i stadion. Jag tror inte att jag någonsin varit inne i en så stor byggnad. Mäktigt är ordet. …

Due to the anticipation of AC/DC's new album Black Ice, which comes out on October 20th, I thought I would celebrate by sharing with you guys a list of my top 30 AC/DC songs. Now due to my giant fanhood this list was extremely hard to compile. Now without further ado...

1) Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be:
This particular live version of Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be is found on the album Let There Be Rock: The Movie - Live In Paris which is part of the Bonfire box set. It's my favorite rendition of the song, and my favorite AC/DC song. Listen to it and you'll agree with me.

2) Whole Lotta Rosie:
This version is found on the album If You Want Blood You've Got It, the best live album and my second favorite AC/DC song

3)Hells Bells
Just because it's awesome

4)Thunderstruck

Probably the most underated AC/DC song which is found on the most underrated AC/DC album, Powerage.

Great, great song. Best song on DDDDC. I have nothing left to say.

Yesterday, I bought a few albums including Use Your Illusion. I thought this would be the perfect time to do a top listeners radio once again. This will probably be my last for some time though as I really don’t have much time these days.



Same rules…scrobble a song, give critique, move on, keep it scrobbled even if you think it sucks…However…I’ve given up on 2 bands: Any song by Bullet For My Valentine or Children of Bodom will be skipped. I dunno guys, I just don’t get why people like either band when IMO, I’ve heard better from their genres and all.

TRACK #1:
Placebo – Infra-Red (alternative rock, britpop)

That’s a strange way to begin it…something not even from GNR’s “scene” (hard rock and classic rock and heavy metal stuff). While the beat is good, I just didn’t remember anything minutes later. 6.7/10

Guns n’ Roses – Move To The City (hard rock, classic rock)
