flashbleu Am I the only one who still prefers Beauty Stab to Lexicon Of Love? Perhaps I am, but I loved Beauty Stab when it came out and I still do. I never understood the indifference it generates.

George336 As splendid as 'The Lexicon Of Love Is', its follow up, 'Beauty Stab' has some very fine moments, most notably 'Unzip' and the lovely 'SOS' with its nod towards the Abba song of the same name.

boppawombat No band ever in the history of pop has brought out two more differing first albums (the lush orchestrated classic Lexicon of Love followed by the rocky guitar-drenched Beauty Stab). Both of which were brilliant (despite most pop pickers choosing to vastly underrate the second one completely). Their third album Zillionaire wasn't bad either - beat box pop and Hanna Barbera Cartoon chic - ABC were a truly bonkers but brilliant band weren't they?!
