As you know, I(mrkwang) is producer / publisher of 500won Project.

500won Project is kinda long-time fame even abroad as Korean Indie Scene. There was only 1 way to purchase his music, as CD from mrkwang store. From now on, you can purchase his music from bandcamp. http://500wonproject.bandcamp.com/

Unfortunately, he's not making new music from 2003. So Um Han is only 1 album available from new made bandcamp page. However you can listen to them as flawless streaming, even you can embed to your blog with 'Share' menu. Not so good news as new album from 500won project, however still amazing? :)

To make it short.

1. 500won Project has bandcamp page.
2. You can purchase as MP3 from there. : FLAC / OGG / or other formats are also available!
3. You can listen to all of songs as Streaming without stop. Even you can embed to your blog / facebook!

Recently I hit '1300' artists in my library, so I thought I'd make a list of them all for posterity! Of course, I already removed one of those artists frmo my library during this process (it was my music, but under the wrong name...) and there are others I can probably get rid of immediately. But I want to take care in doing so.

500won Project aka 500 Won Project

Um Han

I'm not sure where to start.

I, mrkwang, personally have known a guy who plays guitar & did some recording in his own room, and heard he made some music into MP3, under the name of 500 Won. I thought some of his music were very cool, and I wish it could be released as CD.

Time has passed, and he told me. Some guy re-named his MP3 as Sigur Ros w/ Mogwai, and it was spreaded all over the internet. You might know several fake MP3s before, but this one became too famous. He didn't have any regular or demo CDs at then, so there's no way to prove it.

More time has passed, I became to sell Korean DVD & CDs abroad, and decided to release his own CD by myself. In fact, it was scheduled to be opening ceremony for my new internet store. But it was delayed too much, and I don't still have my own store, mrkwang store, so just 500 Won 1st. Demo is here, under the name of mrkwang production.
