Sat 9 Feb – 30 Seconds to Mars
30 Seconds to Mars came to The Netherlands to a sold out venue, which seem to be a surprised to them...
Not to the ones whom had been waiting for at least 3 months for them to show up and makes us believe in this phenomena...
Renaissance man Jared Leto reminds us that you can do anything you set your mind to (and probably more)...
The Mars Army probably was standing at the doors when the sun came up but us mere mortals showed up just when the first support act was starting, just to find out that the main act was starting at 21.45hrs and only playing till 23.00hrs; well, more disappointment was added when we saw the merch stand... yes, the merch was great quality but I did checked the US merch site prices before going to the gig (hey, I'm still Dutch) and was blown away by the way they "translated" the money :s
Of course I am going to explain (to show you that I am not a cheap-arse :p): the "Believer" hoodie is prized as 50 US Dollars…

Amy picked me up just after three, when me and my sister were doing some awesome dancing :) Then we started our journey to Birmingham. Sam played Sonic, which was funny.
Then we wrote some story, and had an interesting discussion about fingernails.
We stopped to get a drink, and I was panicking about what to do with my bag. I suddenly realised that I could take it with me, and said one of the stupidest things I've ever said.
'Oh right, that's why bags are portable now!'
ANYWAY...to the gig.
We got there just after 6, and the queue was HUGE. It stretched round the block. We went all the way to the back, and it was FREEZING.I texted Hannah for a while, but mostly we just talked to each other.
When we got the front, I gave the lady my ticket, and it wouldn't scan. I wanted to cry, I really did. But she tried the other barcode and it scanned fine.
We got inside, where it was warmer, and went to join the crowd. We were quite near the back to begin with.
