Czw 11 VIII – Stuttgarter Sternstunden

It happend. It's so hard to believe in, but it really did.
I saw Placebo live.
And it was better than I could have ever expected.

About a month before the show, Polish fans from PFWW decided to go to Stuttgart to see Placebo onstage again after a long break. It was their only festival show in 2011, they're not on tour now. We started the preparations and on 10th August me and 49 other Placebo and 30stm fans went on our beautiful journey together. We spent about 13 hours in our bus and about 8 am finally arrived in Stuttgart. We started queueing very early when there was almost no one else, but it was so worth it.
Me and my friend saw Stefan Olsdal in the street, we were about 2 meters away from him, but we acted so fucking stupid and freaked out and didn't dare say a thing...
At 4 pm they started letting people in, and, really, I didn't know that I can run SO fast. We had to run across the whole place…

На этот Гринфест я пошла ради моей любимой группы 30 Seconds to Mars
На Телебашню я приехала за полчаса до запуска. Когда начали запускать, я побежала к сцене и встала в 1 ряд, правда сбоку (танц). Но видно было хорошо.
30 Seconds to Mars вышли после 9-ти. Играют Escape - на стадионе визг. Следующая A Beautiful Lie и Джа в середине куплета выдает: "Ну что стоишь как дуб")))))
В принципе, сет-лист не сильно отличался от прошлых концертов в Питере и Москве. Были мои любимыеAttack ,Closer To The Edge , Hurricane, Vox Populi . The Kill опять в акустике. Была еще и Capricorn !!! Правда, в акустике. Night of the Hunter и последняя - Kings and Queens . Ближе к концу песни Джа попросил всех сесть.. "Он что, издевается", - подумала я, но все же села (как и девушки, стоявшие рядом со мной). Несколько секунд сидим - затем встаем и поднимаем вверх руки (интересно, как это со стороны смотрелось?).

Fri 11 Mar – 30 Seconds to Mars
Not being a huge fan of the band, 30 Seconds to Mars, I decided that watching the concert from the general admission is going to be quite good. To my surprise, the arena was divided in two where the GA was a little bit too far from the stage. It was hard to have a good view of the stage when being short. The place was packed with teenagers, underage drinking, PDA, and the worst security team of all time. The security's mission was to make sure no one was sitting on anyone's shoulders, which is/was a buzz kill to many of the fans.

Few songs into the concert, the organizing team scattered into the GA area and started handing out Fan Pit wrist bands and people were able to see the band from up close & I was one of them. Right then and there it felt like I was in a real concert, watching a real band playing, and found myself enjoying the band's music more than ever. The lightning effects were great. Only four days until Christmas... Yay! Too bad this week has gone down the drain. I don't really want to talk about exactly what happened, but let's just say my dad is really annoying and way too over-protective of me...

Oh well, I'm not going to let that get me down. I really haven't listened to as much music as I have in the past few days, and I'm not too sure why. I woke up unusually late today, so that probably has something to do with it. I'm really beginning to hate my sleep schedule. >.<
