I'm pretty sure that if I would be able to count all the listened artist in the past 5 or 4 years there would appear some other artist among my current top artist, but the fact of not knowing this site since the past 2007 and the obsession I have formating my computers and losing all the play counts of my Windows media Player make them impossible to count...
One of those artist would be Rise Against. They were the first ones I started to listen in my adolescence since the unraveling...and by then I didn't really listen to some other punk bands. Revolutions Per Minute was simply amazing and I listened to that album up the to the point I almost become bored of some songs...and then, that third album that yes, was good, but not as good as the other. At the time they made their fourth album I didn't listen to their music anymore since their style changed completely with songs like "swing life away"

Another band is Antiflag...there were a couple of amazing albums: Underground network and the Terror state…

I buy a ton of CDs. I never got into the downloading game, because 1. DRM is evil and I don't have the spare time to strip it, and 2. I like reading liner notes. So I still buy lots of CDs. I then rip them and throw them into storage.

On Friday night, I bought the following CDs:

The Warrior's Code by Dropkick Murphys. I prefer their older releases, which sounded more old school punkish to me. But I had the song they did on The Departed soundtrack on the brain, so I grabbed this.
Album details: 14 tracks, released in a digipak.

A Fever You Can't Sweat Out by Panic at the Disco. Catching a Panic! show in May. I'm so tired of the generic emo sound, but I like to sing a long at concerts, so figured I'd brush up on these guys. Not a huge fan, but my husband likes them. The CD is harmless enough, if not groundbreaking or original.
Album details: 13 tracks, includes lyrics

Punk-O-Rama Vol. 9 by Various Artists. I don't think Epitaph is putting these out anymore, since I haven't seen a new one in 2 or 3 years…
