    I was really disappointed with STAR cause I was thinking about it as a "Fujifabric release". But, considering Shimura used to write the majority of their songs, it's pretty comprehensible that the songs sound different. Maybe they really should have changed the band name, but well. New Fujifabric.

    i guess i can see why someone wouldn't like his voice. but i'd still rather have the three who were there (almost) from the beginning than either bringing in a new singer, or no fujifabric at all.

    i know hes been in the band since a la mode..but his backup vocals were better infact they were superb ..try songs like strawberry shortcakes..he had beautiful back up vocals..but his lead voice sounds too nasally. but his voice was good on the previous songs he sung for (MUSIC album etc) i guess i can learn to adjust

    Yamauchi has been in the band since A La Mode, it's not the same without Shimura but I like his voice. And I love the new album, especially Echo and Splash, sounds like Teenager.

    New album is a disappointment. Shimura is the one and only vocalist of fujifabric. Then again I did notice on the MUSIC album the new vocalist did sing some of the songs.

    New album is out Sept 21st, I love Yamauchi's vox on 会いに so I'm sure they'll do Shimura proud :) They really need another guitarist though, you can't play Fujifabric live with only one guitar.
