What? I'm not saying it was a bad year at all. I just wonder how it is a classic album. No one gave me a proper answer yet. Feel free to do so, though. I myself love 13's Reborn, but it's nowhere near being a classic album. It's a billion miles away from being such a thing. Luna Sea's "Image", X-Japan's "Blue Blood", Dir en grey's "Macabre", Malice Mizer's "Merveilles", Merry's "Modern garde" and so on are examples on classic albums as far as "VK/jrock" goes. Calling anything released by Girugamesh, Sadie, -OZ- , Deluhi, Heidi., Screw and so fucking on classic is sad to be honest. Note that I am a heidi. fanboy and like -OZ- and older Girugamesh a lot myself, but none of them released anything that's to be considered classic. Really gaiz.

2007 was just a good year for (new) visual kei (as xxxratedcunt noted) - in addition to this, most notable Girugamesh songs could be found here (Vermillion, Shining, Patchwork, Kowareteiku Sekai (the most important one)) etc. etc.)...don't get me wrong though, I do dig Goku/Gokusou era but this had more...visual kei's trademark variety in terms of sound (which is pretty much absent these days)

(At least for me) it's a classic in a way that reminds me a brighter era of visual-kei/japanese rock: not the mass of dead musicians, not so many disbandings, etc.

I swear these comments never change. How many years have people been crying over the "new" girugamesh now? Doesn't it ever get old? They will never remake 13's. Deal with it. I think its time people move on. The band is doing what they want whether you like it or not.

In one way, I don't think that dividing the fans into two groups was the best move they could have done. There is no doubt that they were known for their dark, heavy and melodic songs. I mean, there's nothing wrong with the songs from GO, they're good pop/rock-songs, but it kind of hurts to see the transformation from their earlier work to this. The best solution were if they just had separated these two "genres", to create a new band with the pop/rock-ish sound. I guess it's just me, dreaming about the opportunity... Would be much easier for them this way than to build up a new brand I guess...

Wanting to be mainstream or simply an honest change, w/e. I read the interview before but it doesn't change the fact that I don't like their recent sound. I who listens to pop rock isn't upset about their going "soft". Simply put, I just can't stand the majority of their new melodies
