Thunderplop Does anyone know where to get his albums outside of Israel? Are there any online shops or something else where you can get Avivs albums? I found that his latest album is available through Amazon and other mailorders but what about his older records? Somebody got an idea? At least it is possible to listen to many of his records on www.simfy.de - this is nice, but real CDs would be better ;-)

hamvdm I also wondered why this artist is scrobbled in Hebrew... apparently it is a setting in your profile, if you enable "Translate foreign artist names to English where possible" Aviv Geffen is displayed in English

HumanHighway Yeah, very suprising that i like his solo stuff so much. It's way more pop than i can usually handle but it's executed so perfectly and with real heart. Props to this guy.

After listening to Blackfield, I have to admit I thought his voice was a bit hard to listen to and figured that it was probably Stevens contributions that made me like them. Listened to one of his solo albums thinking I probably wouldn't like it. Turns out I was wrong, this is actually great! So sorry for doubting you, Aviv. Oh, what beautiful music.
