    Why I joined this group

    - I am currently sitting in my bed. Usually, my computer is set up on a desk in another room. But to have my mp3s here when friends came over on new year's eve (Yes, I didn't leave the house), I set it up in my bedroom.

    - The desk broke down when I tried to return the computer to the other room. And I am not too sad about that. It was an ugly desk. And now I am too much used to listening to music and surfing the web from my comfortable bed. Although typing long texts is somewhat uncomfortable (and I am writing this text for the second time now, I lost it due to a misclick, nasty).

    - Well actually I have left the house 2 days ago. Had to pick up my girlfriend to sit in bed with her for 2 days. :P
I prefer long lazy breaks between my visits of the outside world. Don't get my wrong, I am not a shy or lonely person. I am just enjoying my own company, preferably in bed.

    - Clever group name. Oh yes and nice pic.

    - To write this.

    - Girls.

    computer + bed = heaven.

I've made it my goal to not leave my bed unless it's absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, I live in a dorm with a very social roommate, so there are people in my room all the time anyway.

  • Ahh, so there is a place where like-minds can unite!!! For the past two years all I've done is; sew, surf the e-net, listen to music for 24 hours straight, eat chinese food, watch HGTV, ween myself off of my awful addiction to coffee and smoothies, and made bunchies of cupcakes & cakes (but always, and always refusing to eat them) Honestly, momsy thinks that I am crazy! She complains how I should go outside and explore. Erm, I guess we are all comfortable being trapped in a four cornered room :(!

Hahaha, same with me. My Mom told me to get friends or something.

    Oh crap, that sounded emo.

Music is my one and only best friend.
I don't have any social life and my hear is a mess.

It's not a case of doing what's right, it's just the way I feel that matters

haha, i've been on my bed listening to music this whole day, and will most likely be doing the same for the next two days as well due to my lack of interacting with the world outside my bedroom.

  • Hi Everyone,

I can remember just finishing a job which gave me free accomadation in something like a student dorm. I'd completely surrounded myself in books and DVD's and was far to lazy to figure out how to ship them 300 miles. I simply didn't tell anyone I wasnt allowed to live their and spent three weeks sitting on my bed, listening to music and watching Chris Morris repeatedly "It's the dog, he thinks he's my lawyer"

Anyway I'm now in one of the most fun, most happening cities in the world - soon to be on my own now that me and my girlfriend are about to split up and I don't know a single person. Don't think I'll be leaving the flat for a while (does it count if you have to go to the corner shop next door for milk?)

That is what music is for...
I've just discovered the social realist movies of the 1960's, go's very well with early '90s Indie.

I love the user pic in this group

"Tried living in the real world ,Instead of a shell
But before I began ... I was bored before I even began

    YES!!!

  • At the time I joined this group I was still at uni in my dorm room.. a room I hardly ever left. What the point of going to class where people want to talk to you?

Still, though, I'm glad to be back home and actually having a semblance of a life. Doing nothing can become very depressing.

this group seems to be very relaxing(yes!)..and i'm an extremely lazy bedsitter..i feel kinda sorry about that..:(

  • Well in all honesty why I joined this group is because I was once a bedsitter and very much long to be one again.
I am temporarily back at my parents house and have a single bed over here and my room is in the attic. So bed sitting is not really that enjoyable at the moment.
I long to have a double bed again, oh how I do long for that so very very much!

Oh and the clever group name indeed! It's a winner ;) :P

It seems to me that every time I leave the house, I get into trouble.

I'm on a sick leave at the moment. What a perfect excuse to sit at home!

    fuck

  • My computer is not in the same room as my bed...damn! ;p

I just rediscovered this group. I leave the house on Fridays to get food and on Sundays to get the papers. Okay, sometimes i cheat and go out on other days too, but i could do without that. Unfortunately i can't have my computer on my bed even though it's a laptop, because i have to use proper speakers and they take up too much space. So i don't spend all day in bed, but in a combination of bed and desk. Still, same room. I live alone so i don't have to pretend to be trying to get a life. But my grandmother lives above so i have to go to her place once a day for lunch, and that kinda ruins my bedsitting routine. As you can imagine i am an (almost drop out) student. And my phone stopped working last Sunday but i've been postponing calling the phone company to fix it for over a week now because that's the interaction with the world i hate the most. And i decided i'm better without the phone interrupting my bed or computer activities. If anyone asks why my phone isn't working i pretend to be surprised and say 'no idea, i thought it did'.

Uf, had to get it out of my chest :D

    I know how You feel.

This description is about me. It's jus better to stay at home I think.
Know this, You have one "bedsitter" in Poland now.

Słoneczko przygrzewało. W gąszczu tumtumów i tulżyc wesoło kląskały peliczaple. Zbłąkinie rykoświstąkały. Jaszmije smukwijne robiły coś na pobliskim gargazonie, ale nie widziałem, co. Odległość była zbyt duża.

im away at school and the desk chair is terrible so i moved to the bed ... and never left. all my friends live in the building and are always around (usually to use my record player). but ive always enjoyed alone time, and there really is nothing beter than spending a day in bed with some good music.

    i won't be saved.
    i know all the words.

Oh well. It seems like I'm the oldest member on the list, but I guess I've been too busy being a bedsitter 'cause I've been such a lazy writer. But I just love last.fm and spend most of my time watching awesome tv shows. Or bad tv shows. Or very very bad. But they keep me entertained.

I'd love to have some bedsitter friends like you seem to have, but no luck yet.

  • bedsitting is like hatching an egg, you can't get up before you're done... and it's never done, because you're actually a rooster.

    I’m rotting I’m rotting Here...
