A new milestone in Heavy Metal has been reached:
Christopher Lee's "Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross".

The blood of four thousand Saxon men has been shed by none other than Christopher Lee. Lee, at the age of 87, has released a metal concept-album about Holy Roman Emperor and King of the Franks Charlemagne. How awesome is that?

Seriously, I wanted to write something super epic about Christopher Lee here, but I can't come up with something that accurately describes how awesome this is; so, let me just quote what some dude wrote about this on a blog I came across:
"Is it possible for things to be TOO metal? Because in my opinion, that would qualify."

So, come and start shedding the blood of Saxon men with us, before Christopher Lee will shed your blood similar to that of the four thousand Saxon men whose blood he has already shed.

Why, I like this album and I obtained it for the sake of the blood of the Saxon Men :p I even started writing the articles of some of the Frankish kings on the Persian Wikipedia just because of this album!
