Yeah, if they want to play their games it's fine. Spamming is annoying, even if it's on the same artist's page. I don't think anyone cares what song you're playing now and what you're going to listen next.

I don't mind in general, but if they start spamming it in unrelated artist pages they can fuck off. I mean, I participated with one. Just listened to the albums I had from said artist, which was enough for me. So I then just went back to random listening.

... if i had people encouraging to do so (play dates that is) i believe i would also jump into this group but thankfully (very thankful actually) i've never been bothered with such..... and yes, it would be quite annoying..... (i'm guessing it's to enable their particular artist to rise in tracks played and thus rise in "supposed" popularity.... ?)
