Teachers and comic sans

Last year we learnt about Word, and my teacher was really excited when he talked about comic sans. why? because he thought it was so cute! My whole class kind of flipped out... :P

My old Spanish teacher loved that font, she used it everywhere.
I hated her.

My typing teacher made Comic Sans font be our default font for our projects and timings. Urgh, to have to type everything in it....
And my dad always sends me emails written in it.
I guess you're right about the oldies lovin' it. Haha.

a long, long time ago...in 4th grade or summing our whole class thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. i used those cd sampler things that we used for free stuff b4 internet. (it might even have been floppy disks... wow)

My dad is 59 and doesn't like Comic Sans. He's also a college professor, and types the titles of tests he gives in big Old English fonts. Haha.

But it does seem like high school and elementary school teachers have an unheathy appreciation for that font. It's quite annoying.

And with each new school year, the student's guide they gave us in high school was always 100% Comic Sans. I was about to strangle the secretaries (or whoever writes those things).

Most of our texts in school are written in comic sans, too. Even invitations and other serious stuff. I can't understand the way people like this font...

My teachers write everything in comic sans D:
And I write every single text in fixedsys or courier =D
I always feel like "take that!" when I show them some text in those fonts.

I have the feeling that every teacher in every english speaking country write everything in comic sans.. it's terribe!! I seriously hate it!! :D

All my friends love it but I really can't stand. Some teachers use it though and that's sooo annoying cos it shows how non-creative they are (always the same font =/)

I completely support that comic. I mean, I think I've read a comic with that in it...

Anyways, when I was in elementary all my French teachers used that font. Back then I actually liked the font. Yes, I know, I was mentally disturbed or something. I used it myself but then something happened and I realized the 'horreur' of it. Maybe it was the fact that I realized my teachers used it EVERYWHERE. ALL OF THEM. Test after test, handout after another; Comic SANS MS everywhere.

It was a nightmare.

Also, Finnish teachers seem to love it, too. I just had a Finnish & Literature test this morning and my teacher had used several fonts but she had used Comic Sans the most, in caps. T_T.

Tell me about it. Every crappy sheet of paper almost any teacher would give us had a comic sans text. Even our damn certificates! Of all four years!
Hopefully, we won't get any of these in college. *hopes*

I went to university yesterday and there were like THOUSAND new fucking POSTERS full with comic sans. I thought that shit would stop when I quit school.
It's starting all over again.
I guess I'll just kill my pathology professor and dissect him.

all the teachers i ever had used every-fucking-time comic sans when they were supposed to write something. some kind of a note or letter or whatever! everytime comic sans!

My team leader, who was about 26, loved that font and used it to write some tutorials and reminders for the ever-useless bulletin board.

Elementary school teachers in Sweden use it constantly, especially the maths teachers. Every piece of paper we got contained some writing in comic sans, everything between the range of nine years... nice.
