  @poly-rhythmic: good=original riffs, creative songwriting, brutality without the sacrifice of technicality, tight playing, excellent showmanship bad=generic riffs, boring songwriting (often consisting of sloppy fast riff-breakdown-mid tempo groove-breakdown-breakdown-breakdown), brutality at the expense of technicality or solid playing (suicide silence, etc.), awful lyrics (exp. "cry me a river bitch!")
