Yeah, and in addition to Lucy Wainwright Roche, her mother, Suzzy Roche is just as valid as Kate McGarrigle, as are her sisters Maggie Roche and Terre Roche. This is one prolific bloodline.

Can't agree, ilovekeane. Loudon is a brilliant songwriter and in his work the american version of Billy Bragg. Just listen to "Strange Weirdos", produced by Joe Henry. He is - in every meaning - the father of the wainwrights.
