  God, time flies by! I'm not sure how I stumbled across this blues podcast years ago when Tony was playing nothing but Garage Band Blues artist but I'm sure grateful that I was able to find my bar-stool in the Roadhouse. Now, the Roadhouse is one of my very favorite sources for the blues, especially since you can not find any commercial blues formats on any of the local radio stations around here.

  Noticed that group charts are back. Seemed to be missing throughout last.fm groups on Monday. Thought that it might be overkill from killing radio outside of the priviledged 3 countries (US,UK,Germany).

  Rick5280 - I handed IndieFeed over to Murph, with the kind consent of its proprietor, Chris MacDonald. The format was pretty restrictive, I looked forward to doing it less and less, and I've been covered-up busy, too. Felt like I was phoning it in. So, the gig is Murph's.   Tony, I noticed recently that Murphy is hosting the IndieFeed Blues podcast that you were doing. What's up with that? Miss hearing you on this one song per episode, and I hope you will return soon. Murphy's Saloon is a good podcast, dont get me wrong, but he is not in your class as announcer.

  Thanks, svenatlast. I've had that same thought about occasionally focusing shows on specific blues sub-genres. Actually, I think it'll probably happen more often in 2009.

  A new selection of photos are up from the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival in the discussions. I'll have reviews of a couple of the shows on the site, but you get the best photos first!

  @bluesman: Thanks. 172 was another that just came together. One piece fit into the next. I actually finished that one about 2 hours faster than normal - a good 5 hours in total. Left me enough time Saturday afternoon to mow the yard, too!

  @Rick: Sorry to hear about the leg, but certainly glad to help the recovery! If you listened to the earlier editions of the show, you know that I've made an effort to cut back the chatter. Man, some of those first shows, I just talked and talked and talked. Really, the show is about the music, so I try to limit the talk to outros/intros and a little knowledge behind the songs or artists.

  Thanks to everyone for the condolences. My grandmother was 97. She thought like a 40-year-old, acted like a 60-year-old and passed peacefully in her sleep. I can only hope to be half as vital. Thanks, again, for your great thoughts.
