There are not too many pubs left with an old-style visible hot grill for lunchtime bar food, nor one that gives so much of its limited floor space over to dart players, but this place proves there's still a market for all that. Add Shepherd Neam's fine ales to the equation and you've got a thoroughly old school pub, enjoyed by one and all. We've seen this one packed with office staff and with locals from the flats next door - though rarely both at the same time. An 'andsome, busy little boozer. (Fancy A Pint)
