A group where fans of London's folk club "The Magpie's Nest" can congregate.

The Magpie's Nest usually meets at The Old Queen's Head, in Islington near Angel tube station.

Here's their own description:

The Magpie's Nest is a Folk and Acoustic club, showcasing the entire spectrum of the music: old folk, new folk and acoustic talent, from across Britain and beyond....
The show consists of open mic slots, house band and featured artists. Expect trad folk, blues, klezmer, singer-songwriters, local songs, old songs, new songs, shanties, barn dance, folk songs, audience participation, guitars, banjos, fiddles, melodeons, and even hammer dulcimers! A mixed bag of folk delights presented in a fresh and refreshing way.....
