  Missionary-ism (read: forcing one's beliefs down other people's throats) by means of humanitarian black-mail in the poorest and most vulnerable of countries on earth, is just as manipulative and hypocritical (or even more so) as indoctrinating children via the Western educative system. Those self-righteous ignorant excuses for human beings are the utter worst of their kind.

  How can atheism be a belief when it's the lack of belief in itself?! and no there's nothing good that's done by religion that cannot b done by humanitarian purposes alone.

  Religion can be used for both good, and bad things. For example: if you go over to a country like Africa, and do humanitarian work for your church; then yes, that is a bright side to the "invisible man in the sky". But on the negative side, if you use it to justify your reasons to go to war with someone in the name of jesus, then fuck me senseless, yeah; shit can be horrendous. I'm an agnostic, but every time I watch these fundamentalists go out, and try to implement laws because their book told em so; I get sickened by it.

  I'm an atheist but sometimes I feel like other atheists, primarily the ones on the internet of course, have the same pack mentality and need to preach that they despise from the religious. Of course I'm aware that not every atheist does this, as not every religious person does it. But for the ones that do, it seems kinda detrimental to what you usually hope to accomplish. Especially when you post ridiculous statements like "religion is the root of all the worlds violence". Just my $0.02

  Come to Poland and You will see what a christian paradise looks like, I have to live in this fucked up country full of religious fanatics. Here even people who don't give a shit abot God and Church baptise and communion their children because otherway they would be condemned by other children and their parents. There is much, much more that needs to be said, but it shatters my nerves to much, even when I only write about it...
