  Mortuary Drape is plain BM, period. You're like the people who try to claim that Beherit's "Oath..." is a grindcore record or the new Pseudogod is DM. Just because it doesn't sound exactly like Dickthrone doesn't make it not BM.

  Yeah, sure, they have that occult BM imagery and all, but I've always felt like they leaned more towards death metal up until Tolling 13 Knell. Listen to "Mortuary Drape" off of "Mourn Path", for example, and then tell me I'm full of shit. Use black/death if you will, but to absolutely refuse them the term would be unjust.

  That's the very first time I've seen Mortuary Drape referred to as "death metal". I guess if you listen to their last album, Buried in Time, it might fit that tag...they took a pretty sharp and unexpected death/thrash turn on that album.

  Time to catch up on some of the things I've missed from March-Today. My 70 Hour work week as a backroom manager of a incredibly understaffed team + 18 credit hours is going to drop to just a single 50 hours a week. So what's good in that time period recommend anything (even non-metal on my page).
