  Oh look, generic trendy "indie" album that pretends to differ from standard music for the masses but it barely deviates from standardized structures got BNM from Pitchfork, I'm sure it will stand the test of time as well as unforgettable gems like The Walkmen, Vampire Weekend, Fever Ray or Bear in Heaven.

  The sheer pretension of assigning a numerical value to music - Lil B and Amy Winehouse, side-by-side would be merely laughable if PF was just another collective of sad indie rock snobs with a blog; but the fact you have some sort of quality-of-art meter shoved up your gaping, hipster-bating, money-hungry asshole is just plain sickening. PF is not an authority on anything except using hype to fleece a nation of sad, skinny-jeaned dipshits out of money and dignity. To hell with PF, and to hell with any who take it seriously.

  "Still Sounds" by Toro Y Moi could win the Pitchfork song of the year. But I don't know why but I would bet more on Britney Spears' "I Wanna Go" or Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" as these last years they always picked a mainstream song as their #1 :/ That's a big pity though. Sounds like loving mainstream crap is sooooooooo indie these times

  @Bolshevized not sure they review albums based solely on your taste.. but ive discovered pitchfork reviews are absolute hipster trash and i only use their website to find new music to search on last.fm. hate away!

  Anyone else annoyed by how much coverage and acclaim Pitchfork has recently been giving to rap/etc.? See: recent reviews, their top albums of 2010, etc. Yes, we get it, it's hip and critically correct to swoon over rap, but I'm marginally interested in it at best. Gimme a break already, guys.
