I'd go with Cowboy Bebop for the best. There's also FLCL for alternative rock and.

Anything by Yoko Kanno, Yuki Kajiura, Yasushi Ishii and Joe Hisaishi.

I also love the Samurai Champloo OSTs. (RIP Nujabes)

No doubts, Samurai Champloo must come first.

Props also to the sounds of Cowboy Beebop, FLCL, and Highschool of the Dead.

Many others that are just as good that I haven't heard yet, I'll be the first to admit that.
