This is a group for those who want to discuss the Next Big Things in music.

NBT NEEDS YOUR HELP!

As you may have noticed, our efforts in music discovery haven't exactly been a top priority over the past few months.

Both Holly and Babs have done their best to share their picks for local movers and shakers from Australia and the UK, respectively.

But we need your help with the rest of the world! Let us know about your favourite new bands.

In the meantime, check out our connections list of recommended artists as I've done a major overhaul.

Saw some bands live who may go the distance; Erland and the Carnival were impressive, and a band called The Heavy (not an impressive name..) showed themselves to be a really good live band, with a brass section they reminded me of Dexy's.
