Michael Giacchino (Italian pronunciation: [dʒakˈkiːno]; born October 10, 1967) is an Italian American (with dual citizenship) composer who has composed scores for movies, television series and video games. Some of his most notable works include the scores to television series such as Lost, and Alias and films such as Mission: Impossible III, The Incredibles, Star Trek and Up, for which he won an Academy Award.

    The best composer. The soundtrack of Lost, is magical. This man has done something great, the songs, 'Lost: The Last Episode' I do mourn over and over again. How great are Giacchino!
