You may remember Melinda Doolittle from Season 6 of American Idol. Performances such as "I'm a Woman" and "My Funny Valentine" placed her in a class by herself. Melinda placed third in the competition, but she has gone on to tour with Michael W. Smith for his annual Christmas concerts, work tirelessly for charities such as Malaria No More, and record her first album.

The long-awaited CD, "Coming Back to You" was released on February 3rd, 2009, to rave reviews. She gave a showstopping performance of the first single, "It's Your Love" on the Ellen Degeneres show. I had the good fortune to see Melinda perform all six of her Feinstein's shows last week. "Phenomenal" cannot even begin to describe her when she's live.

Sorry I haven't been around to help the group gain more members lately (computer crash), but please feel free to invite others to join. Melinda appears to be taking off here on LastFm.
