  Actually, Chick and John McLaughlin were both in on the ground floor of fusion, playing on Miles Davis' album Bitches Brew, so if anything they're both influenced greatly by Miles. No imitations...just the real deal :D Another band to check out and add to connections is Weather Report :)

  Searing riffs with stratospheric bindings, running at warp speed, organized cacophony, the best and the brightest love them+++ its my fondist concert memories. the best..thought Chic Corea was an imitator but have come to love them too..Between Nothingness and eternity thats them!

  Please ban social_name I'm sick ogf all the recommendations for himself, Lee Feldman. It would be offensive to recommend that often even if the music was good. This member is just abusing the listeners on Last.fm. Does anyone here see how it would be appropriate to reccomend him here? Way off topic!
