    Love, condolences and prayers to family, friends and fans of the following music industry performers who have died recently: Chris "Mack Daddy" Kelly (of Kris Kross), actress and singer Annette Funicello, folk singer Richie Havens and Chrissy Amphlett (of the Divinyls). May they all rest in peace until we see them again. -- May 2013.

    Love and respect in order as country music legend, George Jones passes on. September 12, 1936-April 26, 2013. Mr. Jones, sometimes affectionately known as "The Possum" or "No-Show Jones," joins some of his very famous duet partners in death: Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette and Ray Charles. Rest in peace, Mr. Jones. Your fans loved the way you lived, played and loved and uniquely sang the songs only you could deliver!!!

    Theodore DeReese "Teddy" Pendergrass (March 26, 1950) -- Love to one of the greatest male soulful voices of the 20th Century... today he would have been 63 years old, we love you Teddy! It's also worth noting that he shared the same birthdate with one of the greatest pop female voices of our time, Miss Diana Ross..."Missing You"!!!!!

    Classical pianist and singer, Van Cliburn, according to Wikipedia was born on July 12, 1934 in Shreveport LA and died February 27, 2013 in Fort Worth TX. It says that he performed before every U. S. president from Eisehower to Obama. Please add this Louisiana native to the group, ASAP. Rest in peace, Mr. Cliburn. We Louisianians love you and your legacy!!

    Two music personalities are being mourned by fans this week, Mindy McCready, as referenced by group member, John-Boyy in shout below and a member of the legendary gospel / r&b / soul vocal ensemble, the Staple Singers -- Cleotha Staples, eldest sister of the family...April 11, 1934 - February 21, 2013. May they rest in peace and may we remember them through their musical contributions.
