Don't get opinionated! You can't hate a genre, but still any artists you like. So I suppose you can hate metal, but only by hating EVERY metal band.

Do you cringe every time says they listen to everything but rap and country? Do you want to punch people in the face when they say that punk is talentless and emo is whiny? Do you want to hit people who think metal is just a bunch of screaming with a big fucking axe? Then this is the group for you!
When hating genres is mentioned, we mean actual genres. As in there's rock, rap, metal, country, jazz elcectronic/dance and classical.

    I used to say things like "I don't like [input genre]", and then I realized that I don't understand/don't like a lot of commercial/popular music. Listen to some obscure and/or independent artists of a genre you claim to not like, and then you'll find out that you might like those artists. But to say you don't like a wide blanket of music is quite dumb, as in close-minded. What are you doing with your free time, but listening to many hours of music, anyway?

    i guess people who have heard hundreds of random rap and country songs and not liked a single one in the slightest should not claim to dislike the genre, because then that would make them an idiot. they should aspire to listen to every country and rap song in existence until they find the one that they like, because surely it is out there, or they must be an idiot. definitely.
