  I been to a concert with Anne-sofie von Otter a little while ago...Bach and Handel. In the Bachcantates her voice was often lost in a too loud organ, the Handel - part was much more balanced. At this moment i listen to the recording of that evening, on my favorite classical radiostation, and it all sounds great. Gould would say: you see i'm right!

  Congrats to this nice day! Good to see that the GPAADAK rules work in the ordinary world as well ;-) (BTW, last time I tried to go to a concert was when Laibach presented their Kunst der Fuge - total disaster)

  I went to a lovely sunday- morning concert today, the goldbergvariations on strings. Pretty good, of course not as spectacular as on piano by G.G., but concluded with a good meal... I can say: no coughs, no whispers, no needless applause, only 30 people allowed... lovely...greets to all of you.

  That Mozart in the top 10 surprises me. Not only GG didn´t like him very much, it´s also interesting that it is the second most loved composer among fans of GG, which mostly means fans of J. S. Bach., right? True, in his Requiem, WAM was a little bit baroque-like...

  http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=NL&hl=nl&v=57kR6RsV2iA one of my favorit composers is Mahler, i love his lieder so much. so did Gould, as shows in this film fragment. The preach for the fiches, with a herd of cows as an audience, listening, without coughs or applaus...his idea of a good public!

  I'm quite surprised Richter is in the top 10. Also that he is one of the first recommendations for Gould listeners. It seems to me he is in some ways almost a contrary to GG, no matter how great player he is.

  Funny, when we had 10 members, there were 9 listeners in the "Weekly top Artists" list, now when we have 15 members, there are only 8 listeners... Also Radiohead´s stable position as #2 among the Gould-lovers is quite interesting, no Angela Hewitt, no Sviatoslav Richter, no Ashkenazy and other typical last.fm recommendations
