  I don't get what's the big deal about the spelling,he WAS Polish, the whole world knows that, he couldn't even speak French. Write his name as you like, it's not gonna change the fact that he was Polish, and identified himself as Polish.

  My personal favorite composer for the piano, and perhaps the best ever? His melodic beauty and invention are second to none. My favorite compositions are the Etudes, as performed by Maurizio Pollini. I also love anything by Chopin, as performed by Vladimir Horowitz and Arthur Rubenstein.
